Get duCk-ed with Duck Cosmetics [Shopping Experience at Duck Cosmetics & Review: #AllEyeAsk Eyeshadow Palette]


Hi! Assalamualaikum. Post kali ni Vee nak bawa korang ke Duck Cosmetics Outlet. Siapa yang tak kenal dengan brand Duck kan? Dari Scarves, Stationaries, Bag kemudian mereka keluarkan pula towel yang gebu gebas tu dan yang paling latest product Duck yang Vivy Yusof keluarkan adalah Duck Cosmetics. According to The Star “it is the first Malaysian beauty brand setting up shop at the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur shopping mall” - The Star News

#AllEyeAsk Smokey Eyeshadow Palette.

Jom kita masuk Duck Cosmetics Outlet ni. Outlet dia berada di tingkat 6 Pavillion berhadapan dengan Duck Scarves. So kepada peminat-peminat Duck products atau peminat Vivy Yusof. Memang mudah korang shopping kat sini. 



Interior dia memang sangat cantik. Bertema kan Vanity dalam bathroom, tema kesemuanya dalam warna putih! Memang terang dan cantik sangat outlet dia that you wish you have a vanity like this. Especially bathtub dia. Duck Cosmetics menyediakan banyak station dengan products mereka untuk pelanggan dia cuba. Mirror jangan cakap, memang banyak. So boleh take your own time untuk try product Duck ni. 

 
 


Untuk keluaran yang pertama ini atau selalu kita panggil “Debut collection”, Vivy Yusof bukan sahaja keluaran satu jenis makeup item tapi untuk Debut collection ni:- Dua (2) palette eyeshadow #AllEyeAsk Nude & Smokey, Lipsticks dari #Lipstickwitu Lipsticks kemudian #GlossipGirl Lip Gloss dan Duck juga keluarkan #MatteDecisions Lip Cream. Banyak kan? Mereka juga keluarkan tiga (3) jenis Makeup Remover #NoFilter – Refreshing, Hydrating & Brightening.

Vee try kesemua product yang ada di Duck Cosmetics. Spend quite lama juga kat dalam tu. Tapi surprisingly, their staff sangat friendly dan tak fuzzy atau bossy. So korang boleh try je product dorang, dan dorang tak akan kacau korang. Take your time! I know, some kedai cosmetics, kita baru selangkah dah follow macam hawk kan? Kita pun tak selesa nak membeli atau nak browse around kan? Tapi my experience kat Duck Cosmetics, superb! 



 
Masa Vee pergi outlet ni, they actually have a mini game. Game dia macam Tic Tac Toe, kita main against staff Duck dan setiap coin yang kita masukkan ada nilai-nilai duit. Bila kita dapat buat empat (4) coin dalam satu straight line, then kita menang!! Haha I’m sure did win weeeee! Bab-bab main game ni, iolss competitive sikit, okayhh. Total amount tu adalah nilai diskaun untuk #AllEyeAsk Eyeshadow Palette. 


 


According to their staff, Vee won their highest amount for that day! Yeayyy! Alhamdulillah. Actually, ini adalah marketing strategi yang bagus. Macam Vee dah dapat diskaun rasa mcam rugi nak let go, jadi “ah amek lah satu eyeshadow palette balik rumah try then boleh give my opinion kat blog” See! Maka ter-beli lah satu eyeshadow palette. Hehe 

Okay dah beli, muka dah happy mari lah kita balik. Teruskan membaca kalau anda ingin tahu opinion Vee tentang #AllEyeAsk Eyeshadow Palette in Smokey ni. 



Review:
Packaging dia nice, bertemakan warna tema duck iaitu purple. Ada magnet bila nak tutup palette jadi dia akan tutup rapat-rapat. Palette ni juga ada cermin, which senang nak bawa travel. Vee memang suka compact atau eyeshadow palette yang ada cermin, bila tak ada tu rasa macam “eh tak complete lah tak ada". Satu eyeshadow palette ni consist 10 warna setiap satu ada dalam 2.8g, formula tanpa parabens and infused with Vitamin E, which is good! Tapi palette ni tak smell anything or maybe Vee only perasan ada bau bedak, which is Vee suka lah. Tapi Vee rasa memang tak ada bau-bauan dimana selalunya eyeshadow ni orang akan letak certain smell untuk kita lagi tertarik. Kemudian bila Vee check ingredient, memang tak ada fragrances pun. Untuk yang tak suka ada fragrances dalam cosmetics dia, maybe you will like this. 



To be honest, Vee rasa #AllEyeAsk Eyeshadow Palette ni okay lah. Tak ada lah macam wow sangat. In fact, not all colours dalam Smokey palette tu yang Vee suka. Some colours are more ash-ish tone. How I wish actually to have some colour yang dalam Nude palette, mix dengan some colours from Smokey palette. Tapi ni based on my personal preferences lah. 



Then, colour tak pick up banyak sangat, which kita kena swatch beberapa kali untuk warna tu nampak terang atau transfer nicely. Even Vee dah siap makeup, Vee patah balik untuk terangkan dan tambah lagi eyeshadow tu untuk bagi lagi nampak warna dia. Tapi, in my opinion lah, sebab Vee quite tan, and these palettes will definitely work well dengan orang kulit nya fair. Untuk tan skin you kena work harder sikit untuk warna tu nampak. Di bawah adalah mangsa yang rela bagi swatch pada tangan nya, haha (no lah he offers his hand since mine penuh dengan lipstick, so sweet of you )



In terms of fall out tu, memang ada, tapi tak la banyak dan teruk sangat. Cuma kena be mind that, palette ni boleh nampak kotor disebabkan fall out tu as some people dia tak suka palette dia nampak messy (like me!) hehe. Kalau korang simpan makeup korang dalam alex drawer yang putih tu, maka ingat lah (gituuu) untuk buang fall out eyeshadow korang tak kira brand apa sebelum simpan ye. Nanti kotor laci, dah la putih.

Here is how I look with Smokey Eyeshadow Palette: Vee guna (Grape Sorbet, Glazed Pretzel, Mocha Frappe, Chocolate Tarte & Dark Chocolate).




Overall opinion on overall Duck Cosmetics products:
Vee did try semua product Duck Cosmetics di outlet dia, haha spend masa lama juga kat situ (sorry awak, nasib lah dia pun excited sama). In all lipstick dia, Vee cuma suka satu colour sahaja iaitu LipstickWitU Lipstick- Bubbly Carol. Tapi kalau nude lipstick ni, kat cosmetic market luar sana banyak je choice lagi, so boleh jumpa the same dupe. Moreover, shades yang ada available, Vee rasa tak sesuai dan tak flattering dengan Vee. Maybe tak sesuai dengan tan skin like mine. Masa Vee try LipstickWitU Lipstick- Ravishing Janice, dia nampak macam Maroon lipstick, tapi bila swatch, dia actually not that maroon, lebih dark-pink ish like that. So kat situ, Vee disappoint sikit lah.

In terms of their #Nofilter Makeup Remover, not that bad, tapi kan, bila Vee swatch Matte Lipstick dia dan kemudian dia kering, lepas tu Vee nak remove kan,  kena macam tonyoh lebih untuk remove. So of course, Vee tak nak buat macam tu kat my face skin kan. Bila Vee swatch eyeshadow dia lightly je kat tangan, senang je remove. Kat outlet dia ada juga sediakan Micellar Water kat try-station dia. Vee lagi prefer to use that sebab lagi bersih. Tapi kalau korang jenis light makeup users, pakai #NoFilter makeup remover ni pun dah okay dah. Cuma Vee lagi prefer Makeup Remover yang Vee dah ada sekarang. 


In my opinion, in terms of harga #AllEyeAsk ni affordable, kalau lipstick, Vee rasa kat luar ada lagi yang lebih affordable, tapi kalau nak beli, beli lah baru range RM60-RM75 sebatang lipstick. In terms of colours, Vee honestly think korang boleh dapat warna yang lebih cantik. 

Kalau nak compare lah dengan any other establishing cosmetics company kan, memang ada yang lagi better kat luar sana. Tapi kena be mind that dorang dah bertahun-tahun buat makeup. Experience dia sangat luas, jadi nak compare kan dengan brand baru mcam Duck ni, tak fair lah kan. Sedangkan a well-known makeup brand pun kadang-kadang fail juga bila keluarkan product baru. Macam baru-baru ni, hype tentang fall out Anastasia Subculture Palette kan?


Tapi, untuk as debut collection, Vee really think that Duck team did a good job. Bukan senang keluarkan satu collection ni, mungkin in the future akan improve dan keluarkan lagi banyak pilihan dan banyak lagi jenis barang makeup. Chill la, baru debut, baru first collection. Definitely akan ada more collection to be expected from Duck Cosmetics. Support lah jangan kecam, beri input yang membantu bukan mengecam, this is our local cosmetics products, siapa lagi nak bangga dan siapa lagi nak support our local products kalau bukan kita.

Urban Decay Moondust Palette



Hi! Assalamualaikum. How are you guys? Sorry, Vee been busy lately, but here I am! Okay hari ni let’s talk about Glitters!!! Oh my, Urban Decay keluarkan satu palette eyeshadows glitter yang superrrrr awesome! Nak tahu lebih lanjut teruskan membaca ya.

                                         MOONDUST EYESHADOW PALLETE


Palette ni memang dah lama dah Urban Decay keluarkan, Vee baru je ada kesempatan untuk tulis post ni. Just so you guys know, Vee memang love sangat dengan glitters, who doesn’t isn’t it?? Dengan tambahan glitter, baru lah make up tu seolah-olah ‘hidup’. More glitter even better, ha ala-ala slogan pulek! Haha biarlah orang nak cakap macam disco ball pun, asalkan you feel beautiful, peduli kan sahaja mereka. 


Okay previously UD keluarkan glitter eyeliner yang memang selalu sangat habis stock di Sephora store. Memang awesome that one, tapi sayangnya hanya ada 4 warna, tapi yang selalu laku, shade Midnight Cowboy (gold glitter). Tapi Vee rasa kalau di UD store sendiri, ada lebih dari 4 warna eyeliner glitter tu.

Now, UD keluarkan satu pallete yang ada lapan (8) glitter eyeshadow. Sumpah cantik gila warna-warna dia. Bila Vee nampak palette ni, terus swatch, memang puas hati dengan warna dia, tak tunggu dah, terus grab a new one and went straight to the counter. Didn’t think twice to get this. Haha punyalah excited. Tapi baru sekarang Vee sempat nak share tentang palette ni. 

“Moondust has been our most-requested palette ever since we first launched this amazing formula. And this palette takes the vibrancy of Moondust to the next level. Experiment with never-before-seen shades like Lightyear (a vivid, saturated green) and Galaxy (the perfect smoky, sparkly blue-gray). We went all out on the sparkly gunmetal case. Inilah  8 warna yang terdapat dalam palette Moondust ini:
Specter – soft pink w/tonal sparkle
Element – peach w/pink shift and sparkle
Magnetic – purple w/blue sparkle
Lightyear – vibrant green w/tonal sparkle
Granite – black w/multicolored sparkle
Lithium – brown w/iridescent 3-D sparkle
Vega – bright blue w/tonal sparkle
Galaxy – smoky blue-gray w/iridescent 3-D sparkle

Review:
Packaging wise memang AWESOME! Even the palette box pun in glitter, and in silver (gunmetal) colour. Kat case palette dia, siap ada mirror cutout “Moondust” lagi. Cantik sangat, dan dalam palette pun ada mirror juga. Memang love love love sangat! Eyeshadow dia jenis powder tapi still pigmented. Pigmented disini adalah lebih kepada glitter nya, bukan warna dia. Jadi jika you guys expect untuk sapu dia sahaja, warna tak naik sangat, jadi untuk warna lagi pop, kena put eyeshadow lain dulu as base. Kemudian baru sapu Moondust punya glitter eyeshadow. 


Tapi glitter dia memang berkilau membutakan mata orang haha over~ Tapi seriously memang lawa, just make sure you letak eyeshadow cantik-cantik, then unutk finishing your eyes look, sapukan glitter eyeshadow dari Moondust ni. Terus wowwww make up you guys. 

Guna brush pun dia pick up well, tapi personally, Vee suka guna jari kalau eyshadow yang ada glitter ni. Tapi up to you guys punya preferences. Personal favourite shades Vee adalah, Lithium dan Element. Vee memang suka makeup brown and bronze. To me, dia senang masuk for any event atau occasion. 

Vee pakai warna specter and magnetic dari Moondust palette dan purple eyeshadow as base.

If you guys gila glitter macam Vee jugak, maybe you guys should try this! Berbaloi dengan harga ni boleh dapat banyak warna. Then you guys boleh main dengan palette ni, ikut creativity you guys and create awesome looks!
